Hammond Park is a relatively 'new' and developing suburb within the City of Cockburn. Over the years this suburb has shown tremendous growth in terms of developments and facilities. It's predicted that Hammond Park will continue to grow and develop making it an ideal suburb for young families as well as investors. Hammond Park boasts a vibrant community, convenient location, extensive services available and plenty of recreational activities to please the entire family. 

Hammond Park is a southern suburb of Perth, which falls within the City of Cockburn. Hammond Park is conveniently located only 27.6 km from inner Perth City, approximately 20 minutes without traffic. Falling within the precinct of Hammond Park is lush park lands namely Frankland Park and to the left of Hammond Park, Harry Waring nature reserve and Banganup Lake.  The northern perimeter of this suburb is bounded by Gibbs Road. In the east it is bounded by Kwinana Freeway, and its southern border us bounded by Rowley Road. The western perimeter is bounded by Hammond Road. 

What was once previously part of Banjup became Hammond Park in March 2002, therefore the suburb of Hammond Park is relatively new making it appealing to young families as well as investors. 

Hammond Park offers parents and students the choice between a number of private and public schools. Catering for young families, there is a public Hammond Park P.S as well as the private Hammond Park Catholic P.S. Close by is also Mater Christi Catholic P.S, which is located in the neighbouring suburb of Yangebup. Although there is not a high school located within Hammond Park, close by is Atwell College, which is a public high school as well as Emmanuel Catholic College, located on Hammond Road in Success.

Despite being a relatively new suburb, the number of services available in Hammond park are plentiful. The convenience and variety of services and facilities available to residents makes Hammond Park a lovely community to be a part of. When looking for a suburb to live in, a lot of us put high priority on convenience and access to health care facilities. Located in Hammond Park is the Hammond Park Family Practice, which is a bulk billing practice. Hammond Park also boasts Hammond Park Chiropractic, NuLook Health and Fittness, Guardian Pharmacy and Hammond Park Veterinary Clinic for beloved family pets! 

For hose who enjoy wining and dining look no further than the Quarie Bar & Brasserie, which is known to attract diners from neighbouring suburbs too. The Quarie Bar and Brasserie is an excellent place to relax and enjoy impressive beer, wine, cocktails and an extensive contemporary food menu. 

In close proximity is the newly renovated and extended Gateway Shopping Centre, a large shopping mall housing supermarkets, speciality stores, department stores, banks, eateries and even a library. 

As its name suggests, Hammond Park lies in the picturesque setting of lush parkland and nature reserves offering tranquility whilst still boasting a convenient and central location. Residents can take advantage of the numerous barbecue facilities, picnic areas as well as playgrounds. Hammond Park is also home to one Perth's newest junior football clubs, Hammond Park JFC. The club currently caters for players from Pre Primary up to Year 6 in Hammond Park, Success, Aubin Grove, Jandakot and surrounding areas. 

The local Hammond Park Community Association is an active group within the community whom organise numerous social events throughout the social calendar. All members of the Hammond Park community are welcome to join. 

A bus and train route exists with Cockburn Train station being easily accessible and within close proximity.
